Unanimously recognized as one of the best Portuguese singers, Filipa Pais returns in 2017 to the stages with a new show in which she is accompanied by the Brazilian musicians, long settled in Portugal, Edu Miranda (mandolin) and Tuniko Goulart (guitar). In these concerts, Filipa Pais revisits the traditional Portuguese songbook - and some of our greatest songwriters - but also travels through Cape Verdean (and other Portuguese-speaking African countries) and Brazilian music. With a maturity, experience and wisdom acquired over many years of artistic life as a dancer, actress (with Bando), singer and songwriter, Filipa Pais has been mainly dedicated to the reinterpretation of the Portuguese traditional songbook (solo, with the Moon Extravagant or in the projects "Affinities", with the Galician singer Uxía, and "Musicians of the South and Moon", next to Vitorino, Janita Salomé, Rão Kyao and Sérgio Godinho). Always eclectic, Filipa Pais has also visited fado (with António Chaínho) and gave voice to the music of other genres such as jazz, erudite music (with composer Michael Nyman), Angolan music of the Duo Ouro Negro, in the group "Muxima ", Or Brazilian music (with João Bosco, Chico César and Maria Bethânia). He also collaborated with João Afonso, Zeca Medeiros, pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva, Moroccan Nour-Eddine, Angolan Filipe Mukenga and Cape Verdean Tito Paris, among others.
